Pets of the Month!

Meet Cooper

Definitely no couch potato, adorable 11-week-old Cooper and his litter-mates were found in a couch that was being thrown out! Luckily, he was found while he was just a few days old and subsequently was taken in to an Arizona Humane Society Foster Hero’s home where he got big and strong enough for adoption. Now, nothing gets in this cutie’s way from having fun and being the center of attention. Loving and cuddly, Cooper wants nothing more than to find a forever home with a couch he can lay on, instead of in.

Meet Cooper at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion location at 1521 W. Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Cooper’s adoption fee is $150 and includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip and a free follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. For more information, call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number 575915.

Meet Mercedes

As cool and sleek as the car she is named after, Mercedes is definitely tougher than she looks. The sevenyear-old Maltese came to the Arizona Humane Society with wounds to her neck but luckily has healed up wonderfully and is looking for an awesome co-pilot in life. This sweetheart loves treats, going for walks and cuddling next to her favorite human after a long day of being cute.

Meet Mercedes at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion location at 9226 N. 13th Avenue in Phoenix. Mercedes’ adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip and a free follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital. For more information, call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number 580134.

Please note: These pets may have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter, however AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also
need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter!
