A longtime resident of the Valley, Betty McRae is Editor for Trends Magazine.

She has been involved in the philanthropic world for nearly 50 years, chairing many of the Valley’s most iconic events, such as the Phoenix Heart Ball, American Cancer Society gala and Phoenix Symphony gala, to name just a few. She has served on multiple boards, beginning with the Junior League of Phoenix and, most recently, Defenders of Children. Betty is passionate about giving back to the local community and has been cited as a role model by many up-and-coming socialites. She is a Trendsetter and a recipient of the Hon Kachina award, two of the state’s most prestigious designations.

Betty and her husband Hamilton moved to the Phoenix area in the 1960s from Midland, Texas. As Paradise Valley residents, they raised three children and now have five grandchildren, all of whom reside locally. She has a passion for fashion and loves to get dressed up.
